Your trade, your town, right now

Pick a trade and a town below. We search Google for that trade in that town, and we show you what is actually public about the businesses that come back. You can check every line of it yourself.

One thing up front, because the rest of the page depends on you trusting it: there is no public dataset for the share of calls to a trade in a town that go unanswered. Google does not publish one. Nobody does. We are not going to show you a number here that we made up, so we show you the real numbers instead, and we say plainly where public data runs out.

This runs a real Google Places search. Everything it shows is computed live from a Google Places search the moment you pressed the button. Your town is the only thing you type.

Where people are starting their search

37%
of people who already use AI say they start their search with an AI assistant rather than with Google or Bing.

Source: Eight Oh Two Marketing, 2026 AI & Search Behavior Study. Sample of 500 US consumers who actively use AI tools, data collected November 2025, published January 2026. Reported by Search Engine Land.

Read the report yourself

Then check us on it: Open it, then ask an assistant your own question. Ask it who the best ones in your trade and town are. Ask it twice. It will not name you twice either.

The sample is people who already use AI. It is not a share of all consumers, and we are not rounding it up to one.

What no one publishes

Nobody publishes a live answer rate for calls to a trade in a town. There is no such public dataset. Google does not publish one, and neither does any data broker we can see, because a call that rang and went nowhere leaves no public trace.

The same is true of the share of after-hours calls a trade captures. That number lives inside one shop's phone line and booking calendar. The only person who can read it is that shop's owner.

The one real version of that number is in your own Google Business Profile performance report, on the Calls tab. It counts your calls received, answered and missed. Share that export with us and we will read it with you, line by line.

Everything above this section was computed from public data the moment you pressed the button. Nothing on this page was typed in by hand.

How to read every number here

yours
something you typed in

When a check could not run, the number is left off rather than shown as zero. A site we could not read is not counted as a site without a booking form. If you see a figure missing, that is the honest reason, not a bug.
